Trinity Crack Far Right

FA John Bald, Roger Dale
CREATED
UPDATED

Description

The farthest right (downhill) of the Trinity Cracks. A thin line which slowly widens to (large) fist. Climbed infrequently, can be dirty. And yes, there are more than three in this trinity, go figure.

Location

Well above Tangerine Dream, just below where the 3rd class walk off for the western climbs on the belly, there is a steep wall broken with a number of cracks. This is the farthest downhill, the first you find on the approach. There are no bolted anchors, can be tough to build anchor on top if you top out before bringing up follower.

Protection

Standard gear to 3+". Doubles .5-3. Can be broken into 2 pitches if needed. Gear anchor. Walk off climbers left, lousy scree/talus.
