Description
Although we thought about it, Scott and I did not do the FA in our bikinis. Had it been mostly 4s, we probably could have gotten away with it. The name is derived from the flock of individuals down at the beach whom were wearing bikinis and singing our praises on the FA day. Nothing like sunshine and bikinis to really make you try hard and feel like a hero.
P1 - Climb the chimney pitch of Wave Rider to get to the anchors.
P2 - From the anchors, traverse right and start up the wide squeeze. Squeeze, grovel, and lieback your way up the crack system. Very important, don't forget to wink and wave to the beach-goers as you pull through the hero roof. And remember, if you take a screamer, that little kids down at the beach will never forget it. A #7 will make the upper section of this pitch more comfortable but it is not required.
