MapBald Beaver Rock
Description
A short but challenging climb with a radically difficult crouching start followed by a series of painful crack-wedging crimps, into a top out/mantle to a small granite slab.
Location
about 250 east of the main and largest rock in the area, often mossy from the trail, the climbing face is on the east/south-east face, the start is on the lowest quartzite crack with both hands
Protection
a relatively clear forest floor surrounds this boulder, due to it's deceptively short length and relative difficulty multiple mats may be helpful
