Description
Slab climbing with interesting footwork sustained at the difficulty grade.
Directly up the center of the low nose to gentle slope. Trend left to find the easiest section on the next rock. Up a feet feet, then diagonal right, and further right, almost to the arete at the right edge of the face. Up to a ledge.
Diagonal left on ledge, then up left side of face to reach gentler section. Cross some dirt up to another rock section. Up the front face to the two mature trees at top.
warning: Loose rock is still a concern here. Belayer or other members of party should not stand anywhere near underneath the climber.
. . . (Lots of vegetation on this rock as of 2016. Be prepared when climbing to navigate around protruding trees and branches, and dealing with holds slippery with grass, lichen, moss, dirt).
Location
The obvious low nose which is the lower point of the bottom of the Dragon wall, a bit right of ite center.
