Description
Worthwhile moves at the difficulty grade, variety of slab footwork, crack, pulling steep, more slab footwork. Then some interesting handholds in the top section.
Start at bottom of slabby rock, to the right of the obvious low nose. Diagonal right to right edge of the Dragon face then step right into the crack between the two aretes. Up the crack, then before its top move left around a pillar onto the main Dragon face. Up its right side to a ledge. Then up with delicate footwork in right half of the face to reach gentler section. Cross some dirt (grabbing the tree is OK) to another rock section. Finish up the arete to two mature trees.
warning: Loose rock is still a concern here. Belayer or other members of party should not stand anywhere near underneath the climber.
. . . (Lots of vegetation on this rock as of 2016. Be prepared when climbing to navigate around protruding trees and branches, and dealing with holds slippery with grass, lichen, moss, dirt).
Location
A bit left from the bottom of the right (east) edge of the Dragon wall slab. A bit right from the obvious low nose.
