The First Canal

Some fun moves, sustained in its grade.

Aim up into gully / crack, pass on right side of perched block with crack gap on its right, then pass on left side of tree.

warning: Loose rock is still a concern here. Belayer or other members of party should not stand anywhere near underneath the climber.

. . . (Lots of vegetation on this rock as of 2016. Be prepared when climbing to navigate around protruding trees and branches, and dealing with holds slippery with grass, lichen, moss, dirt).

Below gully / crack which is three feet left from left-facing corner on left side of arete with low roof. About six feet right from left edge of cliff.
