Stems and Seeds Area
Description
[Edit]Next area past the Flat Fields Slab but before the Meat Walls. Contains the Arkansas classic Stems and Seeds. Though the area hosts some great climbing, finding many of these routes dry can be challenging. It is best to check this area in the fall when the runoff isn't so bad. Many of the routes also have sloper/friction cruxes that will feel much easier in colder weather.
The area offers varying degrees of sun and shade throughout the day, much like the rest of the crag. The west facing walls will have morning shade and afternoon sun, but the canopy does an ok job of shading them. the east facing walls get a little shade in the morning, get pretty sun blasted during the day, then get a little more shade later in the afternoon.
