Mosquito Ledge

Mosquito Ledge is one of the best crag on the Seward Highway. The routes are long, the rock is great (for Alaska) and it is far enough away form the road to hear you climbing partner. As of 2014 the forest and moss was starting to take over but with a little more traffic and a good scrubbing she will come back to life in a hurry. Climbing Magazine #218 may have voted our humble highway the worst crag in America with a highlight on this crag but it goes to show they don’t know shit.
