Battress Area

This southwest facing rock exposure, located northwest of the Providence Access parking lot, is traditionally known for the Battress Crack and is now known as the Battress Area, located within Providence North. Shad trees provide afternoon shelter but climbing in the morning will help you avoid the summer heat. Remember, this crag, like most of the other cliffs along the Katy Trail, is on private property.

Climbing is currently not allowed, but could change with each individual lot sold. Please be respectful of the current owners wishes.
