03. Tier 2 Boulders

Tier 2 is a fantastic cluster of large boulders with a variety of grades and climbing styles.

You will know you have reached Tier 2 when you see the obvious crescent half moon boulder problem on the outskirts of the boulder cluster. Moving into the cluster provides plenty of good arete and slab climbs as well as powerful compression boulders and crimpy face climbing. Grades range from V0 slabs to V6 highballs. Landings for each boulder are flat and do not require many pads.

Routes are re-discovered every day and it is advised to bring a wire brush to scrub some lichen if you see a line that is inspiring!

We have reached out to local climbers about potential FA's in the past but currently have little information. Route names are temporary and please leave a comment if you have knowledge about existing names and first ascentionists. The bouldering potential here is endless and more people should come out and climb on these fantastic blocks!
