Thirteen Mile Rock

Thirteenmile Rock Butte is a basalt butte east of Camp Verde which is found off the heels of Highway 260, roughly thirteen miles from the interchange of Highway 260 and Interstate 17. This somewhat compact area first saw development in the late 90’s and into the early 2000’s by local Camp Verde climbers. The grades are moderate for the most part with sport and trad routes to be found. Most, if not all the routes have bolted chain anchors. It is recommended to at least bring a single set of cams and a set of wires to supplement the bolts if need be. Breathtaking views of the Verde Valley!
