If you rap in at cactus corner look for these bolts on your right. This is the rightmost route, climb up about 20 feet to the bolt on your left and the roof slot crux.  Then enjoy a few jams and incut holds for 60 more feet. You may want some gear- a #1 Camalot on the right on the way to the first bolt. You could also use a cam or two in the .3,.4,&.5 Camalot sizes if you wanted or if you are feeling saucy a red c3.  Use the chains at cc you rapped in on

A short and mellow climb up the cracks and corners. No particular aspect of the climb sticks out in memory, but it was worth doing.

Start in the obvious dihedral (as for Cactus Corner), but traverse leftward onto the face just past the thornscrub tree/shrub (a bit less than halfway up), then float up the face on positive hands and feet.

Rappel at Cactus Corner, then scramble around to the north to a west-facing wall.  Start on a boulder, about 15' below a bolt.  Climb past 2 bolts to a crack that trends left. Anchor is on the left side of the ledge.  Fun climbing, but too short and not worth the approach, in my opinion.

short but very sweet.  the book gives this climb 0 stars, i think it fairly deserves two for the great rock quality and hand crack unique to the area.  either rap down the chains at cactus corner or scramble around from the north to get to the obvious base of the crack line.  enjoy liebacking and jamming with some quality hands.

The route is located just to the north on the short trail from "left one."  It's obvious to see the ramp leading just to the right of the roof (crux of sorts) and left of the chimney.  a small but fun traverse left which is protected closely by three bolts (although the first and second bolts on the ramp are a little run out) followed by a small and positive overhang brings you to a small crack system which takes stoppers.  two more bolts to the chains. make sure to use proper extensions to avoid rope drag.

This is the right-hand climb on the upper face at Hidden Jewels.  This is a face climb broken by dike-like striations, which sometimes get in your face.  The face gets a bit thin in places, but is relatively relaxed.    Take along a little gear unless you don't mind taking a ground fall between the first and second bolts.  Also, know the rope when lowering off, as this climb is at the limit of a 50m rope.

This is a fun face climb on the upper crag at Hidden Jewels.  The route is well-botled and not particularly steep, making it a relatively laid-back experience.  The face is a bit thin in places, but is broken by dike-like striations for the hands and feet. 

  If you're climbing with a 50m rope, be sure to knot the end!

Hidden Jewels is a small Mount Lemmon crag with a little more dust and dirt than many other area crags. All of the climbs are a single pitch. Most of the routes here have a few bolts, but require some gear as well. With a single 60M rope and plenty of webbing + gear to set up anchors, you can TR about anything there. What makes Hidden Jewels nice is the fact that it is low on the road, which means that they are at a low elevation, and thus warmer when it is otherwise cold.  It is a reasonably short walk in, and that there is a high concentration of moderate grades in this one place. You can go here for a single day and climb everything. 

  The rock faces primarily West, giving morning shade and afternoon sun, so plan accoringinly.
