The Black Water Streak

This is a great route for someone who is new to DWS and needs a place where the climbing isn't too difficult where they can get used to jumping in from progressively higher points! The climbing is super fun. At the time of publication the high point had been pushed to a series of sloping ledges about 60 feet up. 

Compare to the photos and map. This route will have morning shade and some afternoon sun during the height of summer.

I gave this an R rating. The water under the cliff is more than 20 feet in depth however the route itself is less-than-vertical. So there is a potential for injury although the climbing is quite easy all the way up. Rocking up onto the jumping ledge takes nerve and is probably the most dangerous point on the route. If you blew it there, it would suck.
