Anal Flare
Description
This boulder was on of the first to be established on the Invert Offwidth Boulder Circuit. They were discovered by Mary Eden and Matt Farrell for climb purposes, but I'm sure were gazed upon by the many people hiking along the Cable Arch Trail. This is a great boulder for learning how to invert....depending on your size. If you are small, it'll be V0 but if you are larger, it's closer to V3 grade. Crux is squeezing your thigh through the pinch, don't worry, you'll see it.
Location
If you started the circuit proper, head back towards town. You'll go up the steep switchback section of the dirt road and continue until you see a large pullout on the right, park there. If you are seeking just these beauties out, turn onto Kane Creek road and follow this road for 6.6 miles. You'll a large pullout on you left, the Cable Arch trailhead, park there! You can pretty much see the first boulder Anal Flare, from the road.
Protection
