- Edit (TBD)
Tiger-Heli
Description
Tiger-Heli climbs a slightly overhanging compression prow that bears a resemblance to the prouder "
Airwolf
" in Indian Creek.
Start standing, squeezing either side of the prow, with smears or edging around either corner for feet. Continue slapping up both sides of the prow until reaching a good left hand edge halfway up. From there, you can either continue with very wide compression, or start using the flake on the face and rounded holds on the right arete. Top out at the apex with help from feet on the rounded holds on the right arete.
It seems possible to pull over right onto the easier slab face at some points on the climb, but that would be much less fun.
Location
It is on the north prow of the Tiger-Heli Boulder.
Protection
Several pads and spotters. It's a little tall. The landing is mostly good but does slope some and has a few small boulders in the area. Also, I did my best to break off as much choss as I could, but it would not surprise me if more breaks.
