Thing One

A fun mini multipitch adventure. Shares the same intro pitch as Thing Two.

Pitch 1, 5.9 Start up blocky terrain to a good stance below an obvious lieback crack. There can sometimes be a bush here if it hasn’t been climbed in a while. Follow the trickier-than-it-looks lieback to its end, pulling onto a nice comfy, shaded ledge and a bolted belay.

Pitch 2, 5.10 Climb up and left from the belay and up into short crux through a steep-ish section. After the crux, enjoy the fun techy climbing up the concave corner. Bolted anchor with chains and carabiners.

60ft or so uphill from the tower. Starts in a small alcove below a large juniper on the ledge above.
