Kevin's Celtic Kindness

Description

This route was named after a good Scottish buddy with a big heart and even bigger forearms that returned back to his motherland. This route tackles the most difficult sustained line up this killer wall. Stickclip the high first bolt (or clip in on the way down from the unknown 5.10 on the right), and engage in some difficult moves to a showstopper crux at the second bolt. Hang on tightly as the sustained remainder of the route will get the forearms' mitochondria to begin fermenting their pyruvate and recycling their NADH in a last ditch effort to synthesize ATP before clipping the chains.

I thought the

unknown 5.11b

on the left was closer to a 5.11a and that this route was a letter grade harder. So, I guess if you think that one was actually 5.11b, then expect this one to feel 5.11c, hence the 5.11 grade. Regardless, great moves up excellent stone will bring a pump to your arms and a smile to your face.

Location

It is in between the

unknown 5.11b

and the unknown 5.10 on the beautiful wall on the back side of the Egg.

Protection

Bolts.
