MapEight Thousand Foot Headrush
Description
Starts via standing on some decaying tree trunks. Work your way up a short flake to the first bolt and do a highstep mantle to land your feet on top of the flake. The next move involves another, but easier mantle to access the second bolt which protects the upcoming crux. A couple of face moves from here leads one to easier climbing and the rap/lower bolts. Fun and well protected.
Location
About halfway accross the skirt of the lower tier, on the right side of a steep gully/wide crack with a fallen tree trunk in it.
Protection
4 bolts/2 bolt ring anchor (3/8" SS)
