Description
If you’ve only got 8 hours on your day off in Dubois, you have no belayer, and you’re up for a solo challenge this is what you’re looking for. Follow the ridge up and left from the base until you cut right under a roof like feature (the crux) then continue up and left. While some of the rock is solid, some is most certainly not; knock/kick holds before you trust them if you’re soloing. Some potential for gear but it would likely pull out with a fall anyway, and the drag would be unbearable after the roof. Bring a pair of descent shoes because the walk off (far left when you top out) is super uncomfortable in climbing shors.
Location
Where horse creek road turns to the right and there is cliff on both sides, park in the pull off on the left side of the road. Keep walking into horse creek road for 2-3 minutes and it will be up on your right.
Protection
None. Solo and don’t fall.
