Tension Tamer

Description

This shares a start with Bishup Bolder Direct. Pull on and bump the left to one of the starting crimps on Bishup. This is the crux, especially for a tall person. Roll out right to another sidepull that's far and low, then get to the big crimp at head hight. Then, traverse right until you get to another large, incut crimp and match. The feet are tricky. From here, you top out trending slightly left.As a note, this is a deliberate alternate exit to Bishup Bolder Sit. Rather than exiting up and left off of the first big crimp at head hight, I wanted to use the holds that go right as they add some technical moves and a different topout. As I note on Bishup Bolder Sit, the crux is a small box to fit in. It might be easier for a shorter person, so I would love to get people's thoughts on that. It's really hard to grade a single hard move like that, so take this grade with a grain of salt.Could be easier, or harder.

Location

This is on the Bishup Boulder.

Protection

a few pads at the bottom, and an extra couple to throw over the rock and tree behind you.
