MapThe Lumberjack
Description
This route is on or near Abbey Rock. It in on the east end of the rock formation. It is an unusual climb as you need to climb up a tree for the start until you can flop out on the face and clip a bolt. Climb up past a few bolts to a sizable black intrusion which you mantle on, and complete the climb. Al Bartlett described this climb as " a serious waste of bolts. "....I think the climb is novel and challenging. It is close the the car too.
Location
Just east out of the parking area for Whispering Wall at Live Oak Area.
Protection
bolts for the QDs. Maybe a cam or two for the anchor or something else.
