Leaving the summit of Cataract Mtn and heading toward Pollock and Bishops Cap. The 4th Mtn of the "Quadra-Fecta" - Bishops Cap can be seen as the highest point on the skyline in the upper left along with the East faces of the Continental Divide.
Location
The Quadra-Fecta route starts at Logan Pass and follows a goat trail traversing east into Lunch Creek and then ascends the following mountains in order: Piegan, Cataract, Pollock, and Bishops Cap. Descent is via the gully between Pollock and Bishops Cap. (Approx 2,200 feet descent to the Highline Trail)and then returns to the Logan Pass Visitor's Center.
Protection
This is more of a peak bagging route of 4 separate peaks. Because there are some steep short rock walls to overcome during the ascent of Pollock and Bishops Cap, an optional short rope and light gear can be taken for these few steep sections of 3rd-4th class.
