Southwest Ridge

Ascend the prominent southwest ridge line as seen from Pyramid Lake. The bottom portion is steep hiking, the middle is a fun 3rd class scramble on great rock and the top is an easy hike to the summit.

Descend either 1) mellow slopes to the north and contour back toward Pyramid Lake or 2) east/south east to Hailey Pass and down the trail.

Boots should work for just about everyone, but if you need a rope then a standard rack to 3" will also work.
