Whale's Mouth

Start at the far left of the good ledge that makes up the whale’s mouth. Smear feet and traverse right using pockets and slopers on the right corner to top out. (Same top out as “Sweet Mouth”)

The Whale Boulder (Riverside Drive/Buttermilk trail) - From 42nd street parking lot, head left (west) on the trail following Riverside Drive (not over the foot bridge). The boulder will be just past the 2nd stream crossing on the left between the trail and Riverside Drive. It is right next to the trail with just enough room for a few pads that aren’t in the way of the hikers and bikers.
