Description

P1: Tricky small aiding for the first 30 feet through a roof into easier climbing and then some low/mid 5th class to anchor.

P2: Keep heading up same crack/chimney to shoulder and belay again.

P3: Long pitch and rope drag will get you.  Climb down and around a block to get to obvious crack.  Up crack then traverse left on edges/weak crack and into OW.  Cam mentions using a hook to help in the traverse but we didn't find it necessary.  Up the OW (your rope drag is probably nearly show stopping by now) and then a short face climb to a fantastic and seldom visited summit.

Descent: Rap to shoulder and then another double rope back to the ground.  We used 70m ropes.

Location

Walk up the drainage on the north side of the tower.  The endless scree hill suxs.

Protection

2x 00-6, stoppers. A blue big bro was used but fell out and became as useless as blue big Bros are.
