Gatehouse of Loneliness

This is on a black buttress just off the Hadley Gulch Trail. Gatehouse is the first climb you encounter in the Pup Tent area and one of the easiest. Ledgy and with good holds, this is one of the better first leads at the Tent. Take care not to knock some of the choss on the top ledge down on your belayer.

This is the first route at the Pup Tent on a prominent, dark-colored buttress. The climb just to the left is called Fist of Elder (5.10c).
