- Edit (TBD)
Description
Start on the right side of Dogtown Slab and friction climb straight up and then slightly right towards the arete. Follow a line of 6 bolts up to the "spur" where the knobs and horns begin. You can sling a knob, or cam a joint, or use a nut here. Then climb up beautiful knobs and plates into steeper terrain past two more bolts (and another possible knob sling) to chain anchors (the two routes on this wall share the same anchor on top - rings). The friction climbing is sustained but yields at the "spur" and then turns into a ridiculously fun knob climbing adventure.
Location
Dogtown Slab is 250' left of the main wall. From the new trail up the hillside, continue straight up to the wall and walk across 2 large downed dead trees (like a bridge over the brush). There is a clearing just below the slab. From here, you can access the main wall by heading right up and over the hump contouring the base of the main formation.
Protection
8 draws and two knob slings (or small cam/large nut)
