Slagfest

Do a series of technical boulder moves to reach the small roof. Easier climbing reaches the anchors. It is very difficult to find a clipping stance for bolt #3, so have a very attentive belayer!

Named for the fictitious annual event held in Winkelman wherein all the townspeople get together to celebrate the mining lifestyle. The highlight of this celebration is the “Night of Slagging” where all the folks just insult, slander, and otherwise abuse each other for sheer entertainment.

This is the last route before the ledge system as the base rises up and becomes more defined. Start below a prominent hole about 10 feet up.
