The crux is near the top. Difficulty progresses the higher you go starting at about 5.7. This is one of the more enjoyable routes in the canyon. It has beautiful black and orange streaked rock. It is a great first lead of the grade or warmup for those who climb at a higher level. The first bolt is easy to skip.
