- Edit (TBD)
Description
Those of us who noticed this line, all thought not much about this thing for years, but it turned out to be very, very good! At low tide, scramble around to to the base from the north, then belay perched on a small pinnacle, surrounded by waves. Stem across and make a few unprotected moves {edit: now protected by the first bolt for Motion In The Ocean} then on to quality laybacking over a thin crack. The route is alluded to as "#25 Crack" in the Bigfoot Guide, and it doesn't sound like it's been led. I'm glad I finally bothered to check it out, it was fantastic.
Another edit: a bit of minor cleaning unfortunately revealed a few good finger locks that dropped the grade from 11a.
Location
Circle counter clockwise around to the base.
Protection
Plenty of small gear. The anchor is now two bolts. Bring long chord.
