Description

This write up basically covers 3 climbs that “cross roads”. The topo is by far the easiest way to explain it all, but in a nutshell. Bill Ohran solo aided a 2 pitch route called “Disconnect” in the late 90’s. Mark Evans established “Come Again” to the right of it in 2015. Greg Troutman created a free climbing link up of those routes with the addition of 3 other new pitches in 2017 to take it to the summit. Then Mark Evans and Jon Winiasz freed the first pitch of Disconnect, thus creating a fantastic 3 pitch sustained free route to the top;

the choice line for the area.

Location

Approach: About a half mile north of the wooden outhouse on buckhorn wash park at the the campsite on the east side of the road. Follow wash east towards the wall with the detached pillar. Hike up and left out of the wash through a few small cliff bands, a few cairns will help mark the way. The route starts on the left side of the bottom of the pillar's apron to start crossroads, or hike up the hill and cut back right for Disconnect(ed) / Come Again.
