This is the only reasonably easy route to the summit of Whiskey Mountain Pinnacle. It is the only side that is not overhanging at some point. Start with either a high mantle or a bouldery move to get to a large ledge at the base. Steep positive holds lead to a slabby finish. The route is pg13 because of the descent. The only options are to downclimb or rappel off a sling around a suspect block that I wedged in a slot.
Location
Get to the base of the pinnacle, then find the obvious weakness on the southwest side.
Protection
A handful of small cams protect the crux. It would be prudent not to forget your webbing like I did...
