Description

There are three variations, all Hinkley classics. Each has its own personality. Up and Left is hard. Up and Right is harder. Up and Up (straight) is somewhere in-between.

Location

Start about 15’ right from And Now for Something Completely Different(all three Snoopy routes start in the same place). Go straight up through Snoopy’s ear, then go right through some very thin moves requiring precision footwork. One more set of moves takes you to a good ledge, where it is wise to traverse left back to your sling anchor.

Protection

Top Rope, anchors. If set up correctly, one rope can cover all three Snoopy routes.

Do not attempt to set up a Top Rope on the permanent anchors without first being attached to a secure tree or other suitable anchor.

Note (June 2020): Rap rings and quicklinks have been stolen from route. If anyone has any information on who stole the hardware please contact the Cleveland Metroparks Police at 440.331.5530.

In the mean time, if you wish to use the bolt anchors:As always, inspect them carefully before use. Look for any damage that may have been caused during the theft of the hardware. As always, do not Top Rope directly off the bolts. Use your own equipment such as quickdraws. When cleaning the route, please either rap off the bolts after removing your gear, or reverse the process you used when setting up the route (Please do not lower directly on the bolts)
