Description
Honeypot was called open project in the Notches guidebook (pg 306), bolted by Pete Danen in the early 2000s. The bottom of this route can seep badly in the spring and feel strangely gooey, but if you catch it on a dry day you'll be one busy bee! Climb up to a jug and navigate through a horizontal filled with holds that could be better. Head straight up on bad holds through a wildly powerful move to a sloping jug, and then another very powerful move to a good hold and a rest ledge. Hang out for as long as needed, then trend right out a prow through one final boulder problem and a juggy finish.
Location
Located left of the Stinger Wall cave in an alcove behind a boulder.
Protection
Bolts. Double draws prefered on bolts 3 & 4, long slings prefered on 5 & 6. Stick clipping #2 makes the start more friendly.
