Simply Astounding

Dale "straight off the couch" Curran discovered this bad boy on one of our exploratory outings. Before we set out he told me jokingly " prepare to be astounded " by the climbing shape he was in. The thing is --- I was!!!! Climb the Right to left angling hand crack to the small birch tree,clip a bolt and traverse right. Technical face through 2 more bolts brings you to another right to left angling crack. This route has fun and has different movements than your use to from Rushmore!

This Route can be found approximately 60 yards up the valley (Directly East) of the Tribe Called Quest Boulder. Look for the West facing formation that is capped with a right to left angling crack.

.4 - #4 Cammalot, 3 bolts, save the big stuff for the top. Nice belay ledge at top, build a traditional anchor, .4,.5,.75 cammalot fit perfectly. Easy walk off.
