Pistol Shrimp

The Pistol Shrimp (Alpheidae) is a crustacean characterized by it's large asymmetrical claw which is capable of snapping shut with extreme force, creating a destructive bubble of hot gas hotter than the surface of the sun.Pistol Shrimp starts on Black Snapper, follows Hammerhead out to the prominent fin, then fires a crux sequence coming out the roof between Hammerhead and Black Snapper.Start matched in a jug deep inside the cave. Trend right following Hammerhead until you’re on underclings near the end of the roof. Slap the sloper at the lip, stabilize on a small ripple crimp, then go big to the final bucket out left. Mantel and drop off.

The center of the power wall. This is usually the wettest section of the wall, hence the dark black rock. Finding this line dry can be a challenge during the wet season.
