Description

It’s hard to compare this line to anything else of the grade in Colorado, because it’s so unique, but it’s certainly one of the absolute best problems you can find anywhere. Bullet rock, unbreakable holds, an obvious line, and a flat, meadow landing make this climb so special.

Beginning sitting on a pair of slots in the low dihedral. Immediately launch into some very powerful and technical climbing involving heel hooks, toe hooks, and kneebars as the line trends right via several non-holds. Paddle dyno over to jugs in the middle of

Mind the Gap

(yes, it’s the line of least resistance and obvious sequence), and finish directly up the tall, and very punt-able face. Top out at the apex of the boulder.

Location

Start in the center of the cave on the lowest jugs in the dihedral. Move up and right to holds on

Mind the Gap

, then climb straight up the line of least resistance to the tallest point of the boulder.

Protection

A few pads. It has a flat landing in a meadow.
