Description
Another nondescript slab that is likely best soloed while your caffeine junkies are still waking up. Bingham's book shows the route following a large crack/flake below the tree, but the slab either right or left of it is more enjoyable imo. If you take this route, enjoy placing pretend protection in the form of thin slings over marginal "horns". Don't bother tying anything off, just extend them REALLY long and put some weight on them. In other words, drag the rope up for others, but leave the gear on the ground. The tree is a tank and 1 cord around it will work. Please reference John Long's excellent book about climbing anchors to correctly hitch the tree.
Location
Look for the only large tree. Float up to it using your best sense of self awareness and avoid this route if pregnant on bed rest, an uncontrolled diabetic, or you have epilepsy or narcolepsy. But if you have all of the above, by all means, go for it.
Protection
Eh. Medium nuts and slings.
