MapThe Prize Project
Description
This boulder is called the “Prize” for good reason. When floating the river in search of boulders, this was the first one I noticed, and the most memorable I saw in the 10 mile section I floated down. Ascend the perfect, rounded iron plates up the gray undulations of sandstone on the left side of the boulder’s main face. The landing is dry when the gauge height is about 11 feet. The top moves are the crux, and require some work on top rope before attempting.
Location
The left line up the obvious, large “Prize” boulder.
