Description

Named for the feature near the bottom that resembles a shield, this climb, like the other ones here, is short but sweet. The “real” part of the route is basically a 25’ straight shot up to the top of the lower wall. After that you have an easy class 4 send to your top rope anchors. Note: To make this route official you need to engage the shield.

Look for the shield feature.

Protection

Small gear works well on the lower wall. Top rope anchors above are big glue-ins set far apart.
