MapMoonstone Arete
Description
Originally done from a stand-start with the right hand on the face and the left hand on the sharp crystals on the arete. Pull onto the wall and make a few slabby balance moves while utilizing the arete and features found on the face. Continue moving up and rightwards following the slopey arete before reaching a good meathook at the right arete and topping out.
Doing a squat start down and left incorporates a few extra powerful, technical and friction dependent moves into the stand at a grade or so harder.
Location
This boulder problem is found on the North face of the boulder. It is a right-leaning arete with a large maple tree obstructing the full- sit potential.
Protection
1 or 2 pads. Maybe a spotter for the top-out.
