Dancing With a Mannequin

Classic, for not only this zone, but in all of Unaweep, DWAM is a straight up, full valve line that has great moves throughout. Bring your technical footwork, some finger strength, and lots of forearm juice to finish this rig clean. Start with some technical moves right off the bat to get on to the white slab, which feels unnecessary, but the belay is well worth it. Traverse left, take a breath, and fire off to the arete.

Do a bit of scrambling down to get to the anchors.  Rappel in to another set of anchors to belay off the large ledge.  Dancing with the Mannequin is the arete that trends climber's left.  Under the Mannequin is straight up the white slab and will traverse back in to the shared anchor.
