Grotesque Features

Climb the right side of the distinctive rib that makes up Rickety Rib formation or as well climb the left side of the eastern exposure of Rickety Rib. Start just right of the large tree at the base of the formation. Climb consists of many great jugs, flat edges, pistol grips, and positive side pulls. Great fun and truly unique/unusual climbing for Devil's Lake. Gone is the expected pink quartzite uniformity we are all so used to. Truly grotesque features here.

Wired stoppers and small to medium sized cams plus 1 Number 3 BD Camelot to place in big solution pocket about 25ft up.. Find gear at the major breaks or horizontals along the rib.  Incipient crack options can be found down low but be careful of the sketchy block about 15ft up.  The good gear is spread out and the crux sections are run-out until the next horizontal break.
