This is an excellent way up a seldom travelled Flatiron. This route takes a direct line up the centre of the East face, between Quadratic Equation and Binary Surd. Begin in the centre of the east face, left of the massive chimney. Balance up the slab on positive edges using gymnastic talent and inventive gear placements. After 100 feet, it is possible to move left into the slender, right-facing dihedral for more protection if desired. Continue tiptoeing up the slab, make an exciting step across the chimney and finish up the summit block as for
