Description
Some thoughtful strenuous "outdoor-style" moves, which are not necessarily what most modern climbers feel as "fun".
Start left of the tree at the bottom of corner. Up into the corner and up the corner to the top.
. . . ? name of route ? The uniforms of the New Jersey Volunteers uniform were green with white trim [ photo1 | . . . . . photo2 ].
warning: The rock on and around this route has not been climbed much yet, and much of the rock is still breakable and loose -- so the belayer and other people should stand far away from underneath the climber.
. . . (Lots of vegetation on this rock as of 2016. Be prepared when climbing to navigate around protruding trees and branches, and dealing with holds slippery with grass, lichen, moss, dirt).
Location
The big Left-facing corner a bit left of the center of the sector -- which forms the right edge of the main wall (with a clean center section) of the left side of the Jersey Vols sector.
--> see on these route photos ...
Left side
W angle on Center+Right side
Protection
Top-Roping: Straightforward to set up top anchor with static line. Hike+scramble around the right side to reach the top.
Protection for Trad leading is unknown and likely inadequate.
