Wasps Ripped My Flesh

A fun face climb. Reasonably sustained. A slightly junky start soon turns to good rock. 

Tunnel Bluff - West Face. This climb is  to the left of Locomotion essentially sharing the same start. It is also  close to  directly above the west tunnel entrance. Can be reached by a slightly sketchy traverse from Jigsaw base heading to the right. It's easier and not sketchy to reach the climb by hiking  from the tunnel up and around on the right side. After 20-30 yards cut left on a slightly used trail to the base of the climb. But most climbers would rap down anyway. This climb is listed in the  excellent guidebook by Pagel/Kollath : Superior Climbs (out of print). There are 2 bright shiny bolts on top directly above this climb. Easily reached from the left or the right. Note that Pagel listed this climb as an 11a but both my climbing partner and I onsighted it and felt it easier than that. The topo in the guidebook for this climb is not as detailed as normal so it's possible we were not exactly on the route intended by Pagel. Just follow a line of holds below the bolts and you'll have fun regardless of the rating. Note also that the line drawn on the picture is approximate from memory and may not be exact.
