Description

Stay on the lower rail leading to the stand start. The feet are bad and none of the holds are great leading to the arete. Pretty awesome alternative to the direct start while maintaining  some degree of difficulty.

Location

Start about 20' left of the direct start of Ice Calving.

Protection

2-3 pads for the top out and a spotter to follow you on the traverse with a pad.
